well, I only use them to squat (I warm-up, bench, and deadlift in separate shoes) so they have held up very well. And yes, they improved my squat and they were definitely worth it.
I kept hearing that the adistars don’t hold up when I was checking into weightlifting shoes. So I got the do-wins. But the big issue is: Did they improve your “pathetic” squat? Hope they did!
there is a website called dynamic eleiko, the official US distributor. They should have a few sizes left, but you can order the newer version or the new iron work (which has the same tread as this older adistar).
I normally wear a sz. 10 nike or a sz. 9.5 reebok/adidas, so yes, I got a half size smaller. Also, I kind of have flat feet so the shoe fits very snugly. My toes fit perfectly in the toe box though!
They are nice looking, but as far as lasting for years… I don’t know. I broke 2 straps of mines in like a month. They are very narrow too. I don’t like working out in those shoes actually. I do my powerlifting comp, and even some weightlifting comp with my regular shoes. Hope they will work better for you.
i recieved mine a few weeks ago, same model. dynamic eleiko? great squat shoe, forces you to sit back and great for generating power out of the hole. well worth the money they’ll last you years to come.

yup, as they should, if you normally wear a 9 they might be a little tighter then usual.
