I’ve got an extremely painful wrist and I don’t know what to do. It’s been hurting for the last couple of days and it feels like I’ve fallen on it. I can’t bend it back much or forward and it hurts to type. The day before I hurt my wrist, I hit my funny bone – is there any possibility this could’ve dislodged something? The only way I can stop the pain is so wrap my wrist tightly in a bandage, what could be wrong?

Ok first I don’t know how long I have had this problem but it’s been a long time, I think it first started when I was 16, I had started going to gym for first time, I can’t remember what if felt like back then but my wrist hurt like hell when playing basketball or putting even smallest pressure on left hand (even if I just touched the ball) my wrist would kill if I just touched a ball. so when I went to a doctor he insisted to take X-ray I told him it wasn’t broken or anything and the pain felt more from veins and stuff like that rather than the bone but he went ahead and took the x-ray and surprise the result was nothing is wrong with me its just me so I stopped using hand for a month it just went away and I continued gym and I never felt it again I also avoided the forearms machine which I think was origin of this pain since it concentrates on wrists and I used to workout i liked starting with heavy weight directly ( I was a kid back then didn’t understand how to protect muscles ,nerves and stuff). Anyways the pain in my wrist was gone for a long time until last year, I had stopped gym for a few years and I just started now age:23 it didn’t happen as soon as I started but after a few month I first felt it when lifting dumbbells while working on biceps, I asked my coach he said to get a wrist strap because my left wrist could be bending while lifting heavy weights which could cause this pain ,it worked I couldn’t believe it but I felt it immiedatly when I didn’t use the strap whenever I lifted dumbbells biceps or chest press, even if I did pushups at home my wrist would hurt that fast ripping feeling at the joint of wrist and forearm. Anyways the wrist strap was good but straps tend loosen after sometime like 2 month and when that happens I start to feel it again. I finally went to doctor American hospital . I told the doctor the problem with my wrist he told me it could be something called carpal tunnel, he asked me to do some exercises with my hand for like 10 min and asked if it hurt but nothing so he went and consulted with his attending or something for like 45 minutes until she came to me told me its not possible to have carpel tunnel since it happens to older ppl like in their 40’s and should feel pain not just at the instant of lifting weights but also when sleeping or other random times, so her opinion it was stupid to go to gym since I only feel pain when doing certain moves and I should stop (I know she’s the one who is really stupid!!!), I continued with the wrist strap solution until someone told me about a physical therapist I went to this guy and I told him my problem, he took my left wrist and pressed and wrist joint and told me to notice how his thumb easily went down this meant my sheath was open ( he used a Arabic word but I think this is what he meant), he then applied electricity to it for like 10 minutes using like these 2 bandage like strips on my wrist then put some cream that smelled lick ‘Vicks VapoRub’ and wrapped it tightly and told me that I should keep it for 3 days before I can remove and no pressure on wrist or hand for a month. I stopped for like 4 month, now im in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia for work again I felt this pain today I was pissed off I have rested for so long and now Its back like before even though I took it slow and used light weight but for some reason on the triceps extension machine it happened to left wrist (I wasn’t using wrist strap since I was still in my first month low weights).
Ok my question any advice for people with similar experience I figure its better than asking a doctor who will just give you first answer that comes t mind or just say that I have a strange problem with no solution.

Alright so I don’t want any lectures, that’s not what I came here for. But recently I aquired a couple deep cuts on my wrist about the same width as it. Not deep enough for stitches. Just deep enough to bleed, alot. I was wondering the best way to bandage it with gauze and whatnot?
I’m not worried about it looking bulky or noticable. I just want to know the best way so it will stop rubbing against my fabric wrong and bleeding through it.

I’ve been boxing for a little more than a week, and since last week my wrist and sometimes my elbows hurt, even though i wrap my hands and wear gloves. What am i doing wrong? And what precautions should i take?

I have no idea what I did to my wrist, but it hurts really bad, and it’s feels hot. I wrapped it with an ace bandage, which seems to help it a little bit. But should I put ice or heat on it to relieve the pain? And would Ibuprofen or Acetaminophen work better?

my parents arent aware of my piercing so i have had to wrap around a scarf around my piercing to hide it, there is a constant red blotch around my piercing, is it rejecting ?

i do wash it regularly with warm salty water.
