i want to get muscular because i’m scrawny.
is there any type of supplement or specific protein bar that i should take/eat?
just curious, would i need to wear a jock strap to the gym for weight lifting?
Also i feel that i have really skinny calf muscles. How would i make them bigger?
This might seem stupid but if you like something & you have the equipment then why not?
I am 16 and i like cycling, i am nothing special. I have strong legs and a basic level of fitness, i am good at cycling but only for a hobbie or for getting around. I live in very very rural southern spain and i have an ordinary bike and live in a mountainous region in a very small place. I only have a bike, a helmet and a pair of cycling gloves and i can’t afford to be shelling out on special cycling clothing but i want to be a professional cyclist. Is this possible?
Or am i being stupid? Where do i start …as in training? Obvs i need to be better to be able to achieve this. Does anyone of any idea of what sort of training?
I just want some training tips or what ever to get me up to a level where i am good enough to even try and compete.
I need to start some where, no point into looking into proper gear and competitions already because then it is likely it will go all out the window. If someone wants to do something, they start doing it and when they get better, they start to invest … and then move up and up. No point buying everything now and wasting money when i just want to start my cycling fitness.

Can somebody please tell me how can i do like 80 pushups in a row? I want to do the maximum that i can!
Facts of me if it helps:
I can do 40 pushups well, but my limit is 50
I have 172 cm and 66 kg.
I know that if you are trying to bulk up and build muscle that you work like upper body one day and lower body the next and alternate in order to give your body time to tear down and then build up but does that pertain to woman as well? I don’t want manly arms, I just want nice tone arms so I can use 3 lbs weights daily or do I need to rest a day in between?
There are some yoga poses I have seen people do where they squat down with their bums on their ankles, but their feet are flat on the ground. I can’t get very far at all without having to go up on the balls of my feet. Any suggestions on how to stretch my ankles/calves/whatever?
