I am wondering what the total weight of a Police Officer’s safety equipment is. (Vest, duty belt, side arm, ammo, etc.) I am training to become a police officer and I want to buy a weight vest to start running in to get used to the extra weight, but I am unsure of the total weight. Thank you.
Hello,
I need a new bra. I am 39 entering into menopause and experincing breast tenderness. I used to run around at home without a bra and now I need support.
I like a soft molded cup without the cone bra effect. Hanes no longer makes the bra I like. I cant stand bras that cut into me. Underwire is ok. Lately if I tighten the straps then it rides up. So the bra I love so much just isnt lifting and giving me support. My chest almost feels like my breast is tearing from the wall. Other days its fine. I do need some brand names to try. The playtex 24 hour bra is a joke. Its scratchy and too tight no matter how large I get the size. Im a 36 c or d not sure at this point. Im going to go get measured today.
Many thanks.
Any tips on general free weight exercises would be welcome.
I turn 13 in January. This is for football. I am a fullback and linebacker for my middle school.
The bench press is a popular weight lifting exercise that works most specifically the chest. Can the average man bench press his own weight?
How to keep your shoe lasting long, and where the most vulnerable areas of your shoes are. The shoes are made for performance and can be destroyed.
Am a freshmen in high school, and no one I know can bench press over like 135. But I go to a site like youtube and everyone says they could do like 200 and up. Do you think most of these kids lying or being honest?
SAN FRANCISCO, Calif., Aug. 19 (SEND2PRESS NEWSWIRE) — Athletes who heard the rumor said it couldn’t be done. How could a 5-foot woman, barely weighing in at 95 pounds compete with professional weightlifting men to set a new world record? On August 14, at St. Emydius Gym in San Francisco, Dr. Thienna Ho showed them how as she set the new Guinness World Record for the heaviest sumo deadlift in one hour. The barbell weighed in at 45 pounds, 13 ounces (nearly half her body weight). In order for each lift to be counted, she had to achieve wide stance sumo leg spread where her feet were pointing at a nearly 90-degree angle; touch the barbell to the floor; and completely straighten her legs. Sumo dead lifts solely use the hip and leg strength to push the barbell off the floor which requires tremendous flexibility. Some weightlifters said that since Thienna was lifting light weight; it was easy. Thienna disagrees. “If a 200 pound man did this, he would have to lift nearly 100 pounds more than 1000 times in an hour. The man who broke this world record in 2007, Eamonn Keane, did 731 repetitions of 95 pounds.” The world record was 90058 pounds in one hour; Thienna achieved 104846 pounds and three ounces in one hour. While Thienna is no stranger to setting world records (she has four under her belt), she does admit that this was the toughest. Other records include: most sumo squats in one hour (5135); the longest Samson’s chair (static wall sit) – 11 hours, 51 minutes and 14 …
And what are some good ways to improve bench press? I’m a 17 year old girl and I can already bench 135 with hardly any strength training, but I want to see how strong I can get. So what can I do to improve my bench press?
