A front deltoid raise is a weightlifting exercise that can be done using either two dumbbells or a barbell. The most common way to do this exercise is by using free weights and lifting each arm, one at a time. The front deltoid raise helps strengthen the deltoids, which are located up towards your shoulders, as well as other muscles in the upper arm and forearm. Position and form are key factors in completing a set of deltoid raises. Both the position you stand in and the way you lift the weights have everything to do with the quality of workout you will achieve. I am trying to decide between 2 different sizes of PFDs (same style). It’s for dragon boating so comfort is a factor.
The smaller one is definately snug, and passes the lifting test. But, it does feel small (pressure when breathing) and the padding gets in the way when I go through a paddling motion.
The medium sized one also passes the lifting test. But, in order to get it to the correct snug level, the straps get tightened to the point where the 2 sides of the PFD overlaps in the front by about an inch. And the padding doesn’t seem to get in the way as much.
Is it okay to have the overlap?
Thanks!

Why do musicians have those speakers sitting in front of them that point right back at them?
I used to think it was to hear the rest of the band but am not so sure any more. I’ve sat in many a rowdy hall where the band had nothing but mikes in front of them. I’ve also seen several times where a guy and a guitar are on stage alone with one of those speakers in front of him.
