I get back pains after doing curls like barbell or ez bar curls.
I tried keeping my back straight and standing tall while doing em, but it seems to make no different.
Any suggestions? Thanks
www.katiewbutler.com – 1. Using free weights instead of machine — you have to control your body 2. Standing, feet shoulder width apart, don’t lock knees 3. Hold dumbbells down at your side 4. Raise lower arms keeping upper arms at side 5. Use bicep muscle, not momentum — both arms same speed Related Sites Fitness Videos www.fastfitnessvideos.com San Diego Personal Trainers http Public Relations www.skscommunications.net Internet Marketing http Shoestring Venture Series www.shoestringventure.com Steve Monas Executive Producer http Online Dating Books www.chemistryandnumbers.com Myspace Books http Local Event Search Engine www.scourevents.com

Why do I need a dumbbell for each hand for doing curls? Is it okay to only use 1 dumbbell at a time (I have only 1 dumbbell).? If so, what is the method?
Used this as a warm up…..went for 20min jog after. MY FORM WILL IMPROVE.
Me joking around and curling 175 x 5 with semi cheat/small cheat form (not exactly picture perfect form, but still fair) then acting like The Incredible Hulk for a short time. I warmed up with 110 and 135, and both those warm ups I curled with very strict form (much better compared to the 175 x 5 in this video) and fast speed, making about 1 second each. Also, fuck you haters that think just because my form isn’t picture perfect I’ll never get stronger, I’ll even hurt myself. You people think I use shit form to lift because I have to, nah I use very good form most of my workouts, and then cheat some to pump ‘em out, because I like to workout like that more. And believe me, if I hadn’t used cheat curls with looser form than even this, I wouldn’t even be curling 150, even 160 with “picture perfect” form right now. I should know from my fellow weightlifters. Even though the form looks bad here, it’s not too bad (or even as bad as it looks) IMO, you people should try this form with a little more weight than you can strict, and see if that doesn’t make you stronger (because it feels alot harder than it even looks). This is just for all you haters’ information, and your doubt of my knowledge. Yes, I filmed the whole thing, and she made some changes to the video. And please give a round of applause for the editing of the video by my sister TiffanyThePrez. Love you, little sister!
