1-19-2012 ~10 weeks into WSB (~188lbs.) Spotter HAD to stick them hands in there! Honestly though.. I really think I had the press. I will be using 330 as my new training max, but although I think I had it 100% on my own, we won’t call that a clean rep.

right now I can do around 6 reps at 165 lbs. I’m 160 lbs. I’ve never tried to see how much I can bench, but I know I can do 115.

I’m all about losing weight but maintaining my strength at the same time.

Got a little greedy today and went for a double with 390 lbs. I should have just went for 385 to 387.5 lbs for a double and I would have been okay, but such is life! My tri’s died on the second rep attempt with 390 lbs. So, I dropped the weight and just hit a triple with 365 lbs. Even with that, my tri’s kind of died on the 3rd rep there too. Since my tri’s were fatigued, I decided to skip close-grips this workout and just do some easy triples for volume with 315 lbs. They felt really easy and reasonably fast. Then I hit inclines. I started off cautious and did the first double with 315 lbs just to see how it felt, considering my tri’s were fatigued. That set was easy, so I loaded up 335 lbs and hit a double for the second set. Then I did a set of 10 reps on the dip rack (just bodyweight) and moved on to light dumbell rows (3 sets of 5 with 110 lb dumbells) and bent-over laterials. That was it for today.

Is there a way of increasing my maxes right now because im at a plateau. I’ve been reading things like muscle confusion exercise but i dont understand it. When do i do them and how often do i do them?

The benching was 185×7. All the dumbells were 50lbs. My body weight is about 165
