Mike Harris and Christian Mello testing the EFS Pro Short Bands. They are using the yellows ( the strongest ). Christian did try the top weight again and made the lift. We didn’t record it because we thought there was no way he would make it.


Resistance bands are a great exercise tool that can be used to do almost any upper body exercise you can do with free weights or machines. This exercise normally requires a cable machine, but with a resistance band it can be done easily with any horizontal bar fixed above head level.


Demonstration of several variations of rows and rotations using bands. The bands can be an optimal complement to free weights and weight-stack pulleys due to their ‘variable resistance’ aspect where tension is greatest at end-range-of-motion. Also, bands are great “teaching tool” for scapular control that carries over to all other forms of strength training. Good alternative for athletes working with shoulder issues as well. Band Bench Press, 272lbs at the top and 252lbs at the bottom.


685+30lb chain = 715lb reverse average band deadlift. The band has no tension the top 2″ and is loose,…..the bar hangs suspended approx 1″ lower than it would with a plate on it, so maybe 40lbs help off the bottom. Yeah it was hitched, I don’t care! Training not competition lift, first ever attempt at over 700lbs. Lifting straps and belt. Next time a nice smooth 700lb without the hitch.
