I’m making wrist and ankle weights out of lead sinkers strung together, on a foam strip in a cloth tube, wrapped around and secured. What sort of easy-to-obtain material can I use for the tube that won’t chafe or get itchy if I wear them for several hours (and get sweaty)? Also it’s got to be reasonably friction-y so it doesn’t slip too much (it’ll be secured to my hand but still).
