    Hi there, strapping on ankle weights is actually bad for your ankle joints. My partner purchased herself a pair of Cardiostrides shoes which have weights that you can add to the shoe via inner soles. Since she has been walking with thses she has never lookked back. She now gets her leg and butt workout whilst she walks.Definiyely worth a look.
