This happened quite a while ago, but i got to thinking about it. I really love snowboarding. I think it was my first or second time snowboarding, i didn’t have any boots and my gloves were very thin (i wasn’t being very bright) Anyhow, after a while of snowboarding my hands starting to become very numb, so i went inside and the tops of my fingers were a very pale white, it took a good 5 minutes to get my fingers back to normal. Anyhow, the next day at school during Fitness, i realized that the skin underneath my finger nail was pealing.. infact i lost the skin from underneath my nail to almost half way down my finger… what happened? Was the skin dead? I didn’t peal off the skin, it fell off eventually… my fingers are perfectly normal NOW. I’m just wondering?

If you had frostbite, it was very mild. Take a look, the above link will give you photos.
