I see alot of questions on how to lose weight and people sometimes answer, you can do pushups and crunches to lose weight.
Dont get me wrong, but dont pushups and crunches help build weight? because all you get are abs and muscles which help build weight. But why are people saying to do pushups and crunches to lose weight? Do they really help lose weight?
I already work out and am in shape but if i just do 100 pushups and crunches every single day for a year plus working out will it make a difference?
I haven’t worked out in years, I’m 6′5 230lbs I used to be able to pump out 45 push ups without getting tired, now I do 4 or 5 and almost fall down lol…just wondering about how long it will take to get back to where I was by working out and doing pushups on a daily basis… and if you have any tips on how to get to 45 push ups in minute…
I suck at pushups, so give me a goal that a healthy and strong person should be able to do. Don’t give me lower b/c I’m female, I don’t want gender to be included in your “calculation”.

After doing a lot of pushups, I don’t really feel burning in any muscles as I do with other workouts, but rather just sore bones around my shoulder area. Is that normal?
Im a 13 year old boy and i was wondering how much pushups i should be able to do on average.
I pretty skinny,i weigh 90-95lbs,and im about 5ft-5′2ft tall
Right now i can do 11 normal pushups
is that good?
and how can i do more pushups?

In basic training how many pushups are you supposed to do when they tell you to get down and do them for punishment or something?
Come on I’ve heard the whole “you do them until they get tired” but I’m just looking for an estimate

i just finished the hundredpushups program so i can do atleast 100 pushups so how many should i do daily if i want to continue to gain muscle mass? also should i do it daily or every other day?
