Just a few sets from my upper body day today. Lower back was pretty tight and I feel it affected my DL’s a bit. But overall still felt great. I used straps on shrugs today although I typically wouldn’t, but my grip was pretty exhausted from going strapless on DL’s and bent over rows. Here are the exercises I did and some of the weights I used: Dead Lifts 3 sets (425, 435, 445) Bent Over Rows 3 sets (225, 235, 245) Incline Bench 3 sets (245, 245, 245) Flat DB Fly 2 sets (50, 55) Barbell Shrug 3 sets (315, 315, 315) Incline DB Curl 3 sets (40, 45, 50) Tricep Push Down 3 sets (65, 80, 95) As always these videos are more for me to help me see where I can improve on form. Any constructive criticism is always appreciated. I’ve been trying to focus more on form lately even if that means going lighter. I’m still in a caloric deficit right now of 2000 calories per day. bodynomics.com I haven’t seen an exercise yet that targets my hamstring like DEADLIFTS. I normally use a barbell but dumbbells are just as effective. Keep the dumbbells close to your body and don’t arch your back. Keep a slight bend in knees. Pretend that your hip is a hinge as you lower your upper body down (keeping back straight). Raise back up with shoulders back and chest up. I do 8-15 reps and 3 sets. 1-2 times a week (my hamstrings are sore after this exercise). www.facebook.com www.twitter.com
