I have my Industrial pierced but haven’t had any jewelery in it for awhile and the hole is closing. I don’t want to use a taper to stretch it, I’d rather just buy a smaller barbell. Does a 20 gauge even exist for this type of piercing?
The smalles industrial bar I’ve seen is a 16g [http://www.bodyartforms.com/productdetails.asp?ProductID=2351]. It would probably be best to get two 20g CBRs or circular barbells, and leave those in for a while. If you change your mind about tapering, it would be best to get a really long, gradual steel insertion taper, preferably with a threaded end you can put your internally threaded jewelry on. Time, patience, and lube can make the stretch a breeze.
If you don’t trust yourself doing this, you could always let your piercer.
Also, I’d get some cheap jewelry in a couple different sizes to test out… who knows, your piercings may be big enough to accomodate the 16g? Check http://bodymodern.com for quality, economical jewelry.
Nobody sells industrial bars that small. You can try putting 2 rings or something in, if you still want to try and save the piercing.

You can get an 18G one it’s not much bigger than a 20G and I believe you can get them at piercing pagoda of spencer’s or hot topic or really any place that would sell body jewelry.
